Weston Park House 2.jfif

This magnificent country house offers the luxury and beauty of the past and present. From the moment you enter the estate grounds you will be touched by the magic of Weston Park, and for 2 nights and 2 days this gem will be our home – EXCLUSIVELY -  and where we will form our Sangha (community) with like-minded people to find wellness, fun and friendships.

The carriage courtyard in front of the house (and where you may park your car) leads you into the inviting and enchanting Entrance Hall and where we will meet you on arrival. The beauty of this home will continue to unfold as we practice and relax in the exquisite rooms surrounded by over 2000 books; galleries of art works including Van Dyke and Gainsborough; French Gobelin tapestries; sumptuous decor; individually designed comfortable bedrooms with antique pieces, own bathrooms and stunning views over Victorian garden design.

Our walks in nature will follow in the footsteps of the great garden designer Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown leading us to the tranquillity of Temple Pool; the Roman Bridge; the Walled Gardens where nestled is The Greenhouse, The Maze and the Kitchen Gardens.

Our luxury continues with our own house butler, who will be looking after us so we can concentrate on our self-care path in this unique and empowering environment.

Weston Park is a country house in Weston-under-Lizard, Staffordshire, England, set in more than 1,000 acres of park landscaped by Capability Brown. The park is located 10 miles north-west of Wolverhampton, and 8 miles north-east of Telford, close to the border with Shropshire. The 17th-century Hall is a Grade I listed building and several other features of the estate, such as the Orangery and the Stable block, are separately listed as Grade II.

What we do

Yoga - Helen.jpg

Yoga

We are so blessed to have the beauty of Weston Park EXCLUSIVELY, in which to share our practice together. Weather depending, morning and evening meditations will find us seated in varying environments such as ‘The Greenhouse’ and yoga practices in the tranquil Music Room.
Our liberating yoga practices will guide us through Pranayama (breath), Hatha Asana Vinyassa (postures), Meditation (stillness in silence), Kriya (energetic body), mantras (chants) and mudras (hand gestures) to shift and master energy, enliven all energetic levels of the body and reconnect with our true selves.
Our practices in this beautiful setting will lead us to find patience, gratitude and clarity.

Wellbeing - Sarah_edited.jpg

Wellbeing

Surrounded by almost 1,000 acres of parkland, contemplative walks through parts of this remarkable estate will allow us an opportunity to tap into our natural law (inner wisdom) and marvel at ourselves and the wonders which surround us. Finding opportunities to rest will be encouraged as we give ourselves permission to do nothing.

Considering our Annamaya Kosha, an energy layer of our physical and material body, we have EXCLUSIVE time with Weston Park’s head chef Anna Moore as she guides us around the Kitchen Garden’s and we witness the alchemy of seed to plate.

Knowledge and wisdom sharing will take us further into our Svadhyaya (self-study), offering inspiration as we equip ourselves with a metaphorical wellbeing “toolkit” to take home.

Fire Ceremony

Practicing Bhakti Yoga (devotion, love and connection), a fire ceremony will allow us to bless the things we are grateful for, as well as freeing ourselves from karma (action leading to bondage, things which no longer serve us.) As a result we strengthen our Manomaya Kosha, an energy layer of our mental body and tune in with our Vijnanamaya Kosha, the energy layer of the wisdom body.

2 Night Retreat: Offerings
Zoe 2.JPG

In memory

of Helen's friend Zoë Poston (1966 - 2017)

Our ‘POZ’itively Nourishing Retreats are held in Zoë’s memory. Zoë (Poz, my nickname for Zoë) and I met when we were 13 years old and remained the best of friends until Zoë’s death in 2017. Zoë was gorgeous, funny, talented and so clever with a uniquely wicked and infectious laugh, but for too many years she struggled with life. Growing up together we shared so much of life’s delights and challenges, but it wasn’t until just before she died that she admitted to me the extent of her troubles. By the time she honestly confided in me it was too late for me to help her. Not having my beautiful friend around anymore is a loss that I wish I had more time to try and stop. I didn’t get that opportunity, but what I can do now in Zoë’s memory, is try and support others to feel strong from the inside out and sparkle. When Zoë sparkled, she put the life into life.
